In the group sessions, children are given the opportunity to discuss and work through problems within a group. The tasks are short well-designed tasks that lead to the greatest gains.
Using research from the Education Endowment Fund (EEF), our tasks are optimized to improve learning for children.
Effective collaborative learning requires much more than just sitting pupils together and asking them to work in a group; structured approaches with well-designed tasks lead to the greatest learning gains.

1 to 1 Feedback
1 to 1 feedback is vital for children to achieve their maximum potential. In the group sessions, a maximum of 10 children attend each session. This ensures each child receives 1 to 1 feedback throughout the tutoring session.
The Education Endowment Fund (EEF) states that 'effective feedback is: specific, accurate and clear'.
We pride ourselves on ensuring each child is given regular feedback to help develop their learning.

Online Home Learning
The popularity of online learning has increased due to the convenience and fantastic learning opportunities it offers children in the comfort of their own home.
Google Classroom is used to set homework for the children. Videos and website links are given to help your child with the homework. This ensures your child is exposed to all areas of the Kent Test frequently. Homework is marked with individual comments to the children to help them improve by providing further effective feedback.
